My research involves characterizing the effects of alternative grower/finisher feeds on the growth and metabolism of Berkshire pigs. I will employ Osborne F.I.R.E feeder equipment to record feed intake and weight gain in real time. In turn, I will compare this data with gene expression data related to nutrient absorption and utilization.
Bio:
My role in RPTC is conducting research related to Pork Production and One Health and supporting the training efforts of the project.
